Hydronics heating has come a long way from cast iron gravity hot water and steam boilers. Today’s modern Hydronics Systems work in perfect balance to insure your comfort regardless of the outside weather, and we have the expertise to find and install the correct solution to meet each home’s requirements. Modern Radiant Heating is as simple as letting the building structure distribute heat at a minimal rate over a large area. Radiant floor heat is particularly comfortable and efficient; the heat energy is emitted from a warm element, such as a floor, wall or overhead panel, and warms people and other objects in rooms rather than directly heating the air. Underfloor and wall heating systems often are called low-temperature systems. Since their heating surface is much larger than with other systems, a much lower temperature is required to achieve the same level of heat transfer, the energy (heat) moving through space by means of electromagnetic waves in much the same way as electromagnetic light waves transfer light. Outdoor radiant heaters allow specific spaces within an outdoor area to be targeted, warming only the people and objects in their path. Although these types of heating solutions are somewhat more expensive up-front, the dividends in comfort and distribution efficiency will ultimately be a cost savings. Note: Boilers can be used for both conventional and radiant heating systems. We have provided some additional insights regarding this service under Ask the Professional, the headings are Boiler Replacement, and The New Boilers.
These types of projects can be tricky and problematic, especially when excavation is required and/or when a Customer is connecting to a Private/Public or Municipal Facility Line. It is always best to hire a Professional Firm (like ours) to make certain that all current lines, such as, electrical, gas, and water are clearly flagged before the first shovel load is taken. Additionally, there are always various requirements for bonds, permits and restoration issues that need to be completed via Local Ordinances, which we can easily complete. Flows need to be calculated to determine drop angles and permissible use requirements, per available guidelines. We have the knowledge, skill, and resources to complete all of these elements, including planning through to the required finished landscape prerequisite.
